Its been awhile but work has been moving forward as you can see. The resin tanks that I stripped have now been primed and are now being base coated. One of my fears of stripping resin is that it is a chemical most of all and as such can become weird when treated with other chemicals.
The fear can be shown in the first picture here that once the paint drys it "cracks" and does not look very nice upon close inspection. The good news is that sometimes with a little hardwork you can correct the problem as seen in the second and third pictures.
