Building a Custom 3D X-Wing Table - Part 3

Part 3 has us making cast and laying them out for the larger 12 inch by 12 inch tile.  To do this I cast up 4 of my 6 inch by 6 inch tiles and smoothed the sides down as needed.  I will affix them to a 1/4 inch sheet of MDF as a backer and to allow for more material to make the piece more stiff.

Sizing things up.

Turning the files as I place them down created a nice random pattern.
