Blood & Plunder Ship "Bark" Review/Build

Work is progressing just been busy with real life projects and with summer here its time to be outside.  But there is always time for models.  Today its all about the Bark ship from Firelock Games.  Lovely kit with some great mix of resin, laser cut parts, and basic rod for sails.

Here is the kit as is right out of the box, nice clean molded hull and all the parts are neatly arranged.

Below is the mock up of the ship minus sails and rigging.  Making sure all the parts fit snugly and do not interfere with one another.

Painting occurred after a good wash to ensure no residue was left on the hull and armaments were added.  I actually have light and medium cannons built and painted for the ship so I can choose between the two for games.

I have stained the mast and added some rigging to the mast connections.  Also some plastic tube to the bottoms of the mast to look more appropriate for the ship.

You can fit quite a few sailors on the deck of this little ship.  Still need to add sails and the rigging but that's for a day when I have steady hands and the patience to do it.
